Prof. Ray Williamson of Secure World Foundation Delivers Report in CSSAR

Prof. Ray Williamson, Executive Director of Secure World Foundation delivered a report titled The 2010 U.S. Space Policy: A New Direction for International Cooperation, on Oct. 25, 2010. Academician LIU Zhenxing of CAS and Deputy President LI Ming of Chinese Academy of Space Technology attended the talk.

Prof. Ray Williamson, an academician of International Academy of Astronautics, has served for the U.S. Congress and the Space Policy Institute, The George Washington University for many years. And he also involved in U.S. Space Policy making. In his report, he presented the origins, the creation of U.S. Space Policy as well as its principle. President Obama issued new goals and principles of U.S. Space Policy with great emphasis on the international cooperation in June, 2010. Furthermore, space debris and planetary protect will be highly valued. His report will promote the international cooperation on civil space between China and United States.
