Delegation from National Satellite Technology Centre,Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Visited NSSC
On Sept. 17, a delegation led by Mohammed LAl-Majed, Director of National Satellite Technology Centre, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, visited National Space Science Center (NSSC, CAS).
On behalf of Prof. WU Ji, Director General of NSSC, Ms. LAN Li, Division Director of Office of International Cooperation, extended warm welcome to the guests. Prof. SUN Lilin, Division Director of Space Science Study Centre, introduced CAS’s Strategic Pioneer Program on Space Science, followed by Prof. SHI Jiankui’s introduction on Double Star Program and Prof. LI Huijun’s briefing on Chinese Lunar Exploration Program: Chang,E 1 and Chang,E 2.
The delegation showed intense interest in topics touched upon during the meeting and raised questions of concern. They referred to missions managed by NSSC as “ambitious programs” and expressed the intention for future cooperation.
The delegation visited the Laboratory of Space Environment Exploration after the meeting.
