Peter Staecker, Elected President of IEEE, Visited NSSC

On Sept 17, Dr Peter Staecker, elected President of IEEE, visited National Space Science Center and delivered a talk on The Relentless Pursuit of Progress in Technology.

Adopting real cases as the example in the advancement of technology to illustrate and demonstrate, Dr Peter Staecker incrementally showed the general trend of future development. He stressed the factor of “people” and encouraged young people to pursue excellence and make contributions to the advancement in technology.

Accompanied by Professor WU Ji, Director General of NSSC, Dr Peter Staecker visited the data center and operation center of Meridian Project and Key Laboratory of Microwave Remote Sensing.
