"Friendship Awards" Winner Roger M.Bonnet Delivers Report
Prof. Roger M.Bonnet, Director of the International Space Science Institute(ISSI) and Former COSPAR president, delivered a report titled Spaceship earth can we survive one 1000 centuries more on it in the Center for Space Science and Applied Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences(CSSAR)on Sept.28, 2010.
Prof. Roger M.Bonnet stated several serious problems humans are facing, such as global warming and the energy crisis as well as the potential solutions. After the report, Prof. WU Ji, director of CSSAR congratulated him on winning the Chinese “Friendship Awards”, which is to award the foreign scientist who has made outstanding contributions to the development of Chinese economic, technology, education and etc. Director WU Ji also showed great appreciation for Prof. Bonnet devotion to the international cooperation in China-Europe Space Science.
