Director WU Ji Visits NCAR
Prof. WU Ji, Chief Director of the Center for Space Science and Applied Research(CSSAR), Chinese Academy of Sciences, visited the National Center for Atmospheric Research(NCAR) recently. After meeting with Prof. Roger M. Wakimoto, Director of NCAR, they signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU). This MOU mainly focused on enhancing the staff exchange and program collaboration between the two sides. Director WU Ji also gave a lecture titled Space Research and Future Programs in China.
During his staying in the United States, Prof. WU Ji and his delegation also visited National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) , Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC) and Space Science Laboratory, University of California, Berkeley as well as participating in the 50th anniversary activity of International Academy of Astronautics.
