Join the International Meridian Circle Program (IMCP) – A Global Initiative in Space Weather Research
Call for International Leading Scientists, Early-Career Researchers, and Postdoctoral Fellows
The International Meridian Circle Program (IMCP) was launched by the scientific community in June 2025. This pioneering initiative aims to bring together global partners to establish a comprehensive space-based and ground-based monitoring network along the 120°E–60°W meridian circle. The program will enable full-latitude, all-weather, multi-parameter observation of the Sun–Earth system, driving cutting-edge research in space weather and enhancing global capacity for predicting and mitigating space-related hazards.
We are now inviting outstanding researchers worldwide to contribute to this ambitious cross-border scientific platform. Whether your expertise lies in theoretical space physics, analysis of observational data, or modeling for space weather forecasting, you will find a collaborative and intellectually stimulating environment here. Opportunities Include:
- Leading roles in coordinating international research efforts
- Independent research positions/visiting scientist position for early-career scholars
- Funded postdoctoral fellowships
Join us in decoding the mysteries of space weather alongside a global network of leading scientists.
